# Audit Trail

**What is the Audit Trail?**
A bank-scoped activity log available to any Bank Admin, found under **Reports → Audit Trail**. It records actions taken by users within your own bank — no special permission is required beyond being a Bank Admin.

**What can I filter by?**
* Date range (from/to)
* User email
* Module — Authentication, Bank Configuration, Lead, or Single Indication
* Specific action (see examples below)
* Entity type — Bank Configuration, Indication Request, or Lead
* Result
* Source — Web, Mobile Web, Mobile, or Unknown (Unknown means the action came from a direct API call rather than the portal or mobile app)
* Role of the acting user — System Admin, Bank Admin, or Operational User
* Group / Sub-group

**What kinds of actions show up here?**
Examples include:
* Login/logout, password changes, and password reset requests
* A user exporting leads, or viewing lead details/listings with unmasked contact information
* Bank configuration changes — e.g. lead-unmasking settings or module access being toggled
* Indication-specific actions — e.g. a minimum-indication-count change, or a draft indication being created/updated
* Document uploads/downloads on Single Indication requests

**What does an entry actually show me?**
When it happened, who did it (name, email, role), which module and entity type it relates to, a reference number, the result, and the source. Each entry also includes a plain-language description, for example: *"User ABC exported 8 Lead record(s)"* or *"Bank Admin ABC viewed the Lead Listing with unmasked buyer contact information (8 record(s) returned)."*

**Can I export it?**
Yes.

**Why use this instead of contacting support?**
It's self-service — any Bank Admin can answer "did user X do Y" (who exported this list, who changed that setting) without escalating to IT.
